The Senior Materials Planner is responsible for managing the purchasing, planning, and control of direct materials and inventory to support production efficiency and on-time delivery. Key responsibilities include preparing purchase orders, developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949. The role requires effective communication skills, experience in negotiation and supplier development, and proficiency in inventory management. A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry, are required.
