Teconnex Mexico – Problem-Solving Training Session
The Teconnex Mexico team recently took part in a problem-solving training session, led by Iana Bodogae from Quality Impact SRL. Visiting from Romania, Iana delivered a fantastic programme, providing practical strategies for the team to apply in their daily processes.
It was great to see so many people getting involved, and everyone agreed it was a truly valuable session. The training emphasised the importance of a structured, documented approach to problem-solving to anticipate issues, improve efficiency, and build confidence internally and among customers.
The team explored a variety of frameworks, including the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle for effective planning, the 8D method for resolving complaints, and the 5W2H technique for root cause analysis. They also examined Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), which is a key requirement of IATF 16949:2016, the internationally recognised quality management system (QMS) for the automotive industry.
The benefits of this training go beyond compliance, and provided the team with practical tools and a fresh perspective for approaching challenges going forward. The knowledge gained will undoubtedly help the team continue to deliver exceptional products and services, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation across Teconnex.
A huge thank you to Ioana Bodogae for sharing her expertise, and everyone involved in making the training a success.
