What qualifications do I need to apply?
As a minimum we would require your child to have GCSE’s Maths & English at grade 4-9, live within commutable distance from their place of work and be able to work in the UK. Teconnex is committed to equal opportunities and all applications from suitably qualified people will be welcome.
What is the recruitment process?
The recruitment process could include and will be dependent on numbers:
- An initial short telephone interview
- A more formal interview on site with a tour
- If successful a job offer will be sent to you

How much will I get paid?
Minimum rates of pay for Apprentices are set by the UK Government which can be found at https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates. Here at Teconnex we think our apprentices are worth more than the minimum rate so we set our rates above that of the minimum for every role and age group.
What are the benefits of completing an apprenticeship with Teconnex?

The length will depend on which apprenticeship has been undertaken and this could be anything from 18 months to 48 months.
What support will I receive during their apprenticeship?
From your first day you will be assigned a mentor who will be an experienced and trusted advisor to support you with the practical side of the apprenticeship. You will also receive a buddy to support you navigate through the first few months in a new company and be there on hand to answer any of your questions. Your manager will always be on hand to guide your progression, set objectives and meet you for regular reviews.
When the apprenticeship ends is that it?
No. We guarantee you a full-time contract at the end of the training if you have passed your qualification and have a good record. It also doesn’t mean your career progression is going to stop there either. We like to support our apprentices throughout their career with us by offering further education and there are plenty of possibilities within our whole global network to have a go at. An apprenticeship with Teconnex is just the beginning!
