The beginning of your career within the company’s IT function starts as an IT Systems Engineer. In this role, you provide first line technical support for computer hardware, software, and network issues, acting as the first point of contact for users. You’ll set up and configure devices, troubleshoot faults, and keep systems running smoothly using a mix of remote support, phone, email, and face-to-face assistance. You’ll also manage and track incidents and service requests through the company help desk system, making sure issues are accurately recorded, prioritised, and followed through to resolution, with clear updates provided to users throughout. When problems are more complex, you’ll escalate them to higher level support while documenting actions taken, helping maintain reliable day-to-day IT services across the organisation.
