The 15th of July is World Youth Skills Day.

The 15th of July is World Youth Skills Day, where we celebrate the importance of offering young people the chance to learn real skills for employment. This initiative provides them with future opportunities to have a fulfilling career.

At Teconnex, we recognise that young talent is the key to our future success. That is why we like to bridge the gap between education and employment by offering apprenticeships and work experience to young people within our local community.

This year, we have invested in seven new apprentices across different disciplines, hosted seven work-experience students, and attended four schools during their ‘World of Work’ weeks to highlight the opportunities in Engineering as a career.

As a global company we would like to recognise and say thank you to all the young people at all of our sites that make Teconnex a truly great place to work now and for the future to come.
